1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FlightPrep (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by FlightPrep LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of Service

FlightPrep is an AI-powered ground school preparation platform for Private Pilot certification. The Service provides educational content, practice exams, AI tutoring, and progress tracking. FlightPrep is a supplementary study tool and does not replace formal ground school instruction, an FAA-certified flight instructor, or official FAA publications.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Flight schools on a trial period will have 14 days of full access before a subscription is required.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to access other users’ data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or its AI features
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise system security

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials provided through the Service are owned by FlightPrep LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. FAA publications referenced within the Service remain the property of the FAA and are used for educational purposes.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate tutoring responses, explanations, and study aids. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Always verify critical information against official FAA publications (FAR/AIM, AC 61-65, PHAK, AFH). FlightPrep is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Flight School Accounts (B2B)

Flight schools using the platform agree to manage their students’ accounts responsibly. Schools are responsible for the content they create or upload. We reserve the right to suspend school accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlightPrep LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
